This bright new year new has given us a chance…to live each day with zest..to grow and try to..be our highest and our best…we have the opportunity, once more..to right some wrong…to pray for peace…to plant a tree………and to sing more joyful songs…..like yours Gregory.
With the exception of the last three words..the rest came from a poem by William A. Ward
(a revised version by me) So how are you doing G……U missed a fabulous event in Maryland. I came all the way from BVI..just to meet you…lol…Just kidding….
That event was a mandatory family situation. Now, a few of us are in New York…saw the ball drop. Later on we’ll be strolling into your “place of birth”…a first for me & Adam (James’s brother) Don’t expect you to remember all of us, but if you have the time, you’ll find all my info in your guestbook.
So Long For Now
Hail up to the great Gregory Abbott on this brand new year. I’m at a session with my co-workers (36 Ladies) and as the event planner, every year…I always tease them that you would show up to say “Hi” and each year they get “hope in their eyes” although they know I’m a joker. So anyway I am going to sign-off with their names.
All the best & nuff respect to you brother
Anna, Ana, Ava D. Ava T. Catalina,Celeste.Carol, Deanna, Diane, Dee-Dee, Ellen, Florence, Francesca, Gabrielle, Hyacinth, Julia L, Julia S. Jenna, Jennifer, Joanna, Keisha, Kara, Karlene, Luana, Marisol, Maria P. Maria W, Nadia, Octavia, Pat, Rosa, Roxanne, Rena, & Wanda.
BTW..one of them is my wife..they will be signing your guestbook & they all expect you to reply to each of them, I guess you will find out, which one is my Sugar..lol
I have no idea what I signed up for, but I’m getting Gregory Abbott emails. I guess this is some kinda of fan-page. So nice to meet you Gary. You seem to have a fun office to work in. I too worked with my spouse. We were both teachers at the same High School in The British Virgin Islands. Now, we are enjoying our sweet-sixty-years, by yachting around the Caribbean Sea and collecting treasures from the ocean. Well, my husband (Adam) is on his last month for the 60s. He enters Strong-70..on Feb 3rd..I have another 8-years to be sweet. An indeed I am “sweet-on-life”
Take care,
Sincerely
Heather Churnac
Funny, you sound like me a couple years ago. Not knowing how a Blog works. Well Gregory & his fans receive what you write& post if you check that options. However, I am fascinated by some thing you wrote about “sweet 60: & ‘strong 70”. I am now using those quotes to my friends. Although I am still in my 40’s..I am curious what were our age called & what adjective do you plan to use when we all get to the 80’s..lol
Have a nice day Heather
Sincerely
Riqua
Happy Holidays and a Peaceful New Year
My wife & I just want to thank you for keeping in touch via emails, its always a pleasure to read what you write & listen to what you are singing.
Hi David & Cherie
We met at the Boat Show in Grenada (August 2012)
I like your comment to Gregory. We have been reading what he writes & listening to his songs for years. But you probably figure that out in Grenada. Adam & I was in the USA for 6 weeks..attending a family reunion. My father-in-law had his 100th birthday celebration at his sister’s Estate in Maryland. A fun-affair it was.
I think we are having something in The Bahamas, this summer. So keep in touch.
Much happiness to you both
Sincerely,
Heather
Happy 2 C U R back into the blog business. I’m not too fond of Facebook. Makes you think B4 you write…and I like my thoughts to come naturally. Well I’ll have 2 get back @ U another time…Just came home from an office party and your music was a hit as usual, so its fitting I’m here with you now, lol…That’s how it feels.
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU GREGORY ABBOTT
