…… new single “Ave Maria”
NEW SINGLE!
Here’s a little change of pace and a gift for you guys inspired by the Christmas Holidays. It happens to have always been my prayer of choice. This is my version of “Ave Maria”. Some of you may remember that I began my singing career as a boy soprano in the world-famous St. Patrick’s Cathedral Choir. We sang in Latin. Latin was actually the first foreign language that I learned and as helped me in learning other languages because it is the root of many.

How sweet is this song? Sweet enough to get it for my mother-in-law (Donna Stone) who is on a island in The British Virgin Island….ringing in the New Year. Is it on CD, Mr Abbott?
Let me know asap
Thanks Julia-Lily

hi G
i wonder what you are doing for the countdown…i am multitasking by watching ABC with Ryan SeaCrest in Times Square (i am not too happy with the chosen artist on this year’s rocking eve Miley Cyrus, really?) Anyhow, my TV is on mute..cause I’m listening to you at the same time reading your blogs. The plan is to finnish reading them all by midnight. Oh!! Fergie is on..Gotto to unmute to hear my girl. Anyway G. I listened to your interview with CC and we @GanD thought his show was live in NY. So when he said Gregory Abbott was in the building. All fools from my office started to google and hunt down this station. It was hilarious!!! But G.if you ever come to NYC…..don’t ever think of leaving unless you show up in our building…. or you—-will—be—the—hunted.
I remember this time last year I was doing the very same things. Did I mention I am also cooking, everything in my fridge & pantry. Another, “Eve” tradition created by my husband,,,because at the stroke of midnight his friends show up and the fiesta begins and ends at dawn. We have a deal.. my friends show up all through the year and his have this night all to themselves. I wonder how many of our neighbors going to complain about the noise this year. Okay G i am suppose to be reading your blog, not writing. So take care and hope tp C—U–N—–2014 <3 <3

Dear Gregory
How are you doing? Its amazing how I found the time on this day to login to get an update on “what’s going on” with you. Last evening I went to an engagement party and they played a song you did in spanish with an artist by the name of Roshanna or something like that. I was so drawn to the voice (your voice) in the song, I had to ask the host who was singing. I was so surprised to hear it was you..
#1..I thought I knew all your previous releases. So to login today and hear you singing in “Latin” its so amazing to me. I love it just as much as the song I heard last evening. Could you email the name of it. From now on I am going to answer all those emails/post you have been sending. In the meantime hope your Christmas Holiday will be filled with happiness and the year ahead be wonderful & inspirational for you, too.
Sincerely,
Alicia R

Ah!! what a lovely thing to say. Now why couldn’t I think of something like that to say. I guess I am not the poetic type. Anyway, if Gregory can see this then I just wanna say Thanks for sharing Ave Maria. “I like it”
Blessings to All
