Extra special fall vibes
Welcome to the fall.
Touching bases and wondering how you are.
Feel free to drop me a line in the guestbook.
It has been an extra special few months in both the country and the world. We have discovered heat waves and floods, lost many who are dear to us, COVID continues to mutate and we head yet again to the polls to see what the future brings. Throughout it all… just remember we are resilient. We’ve been through tough times before. With some introspection and balance we can weather this storm too.
Summer reunions… and now a change of seasons…. why not enjoy some music while you’re here?
Remember to make time for yourself. Enjoy the little things. And while we are in the midst of unprecedented troubles, do not forget to see the beauty around you as well like the autumn leaves and their colors. It’s my hope that my music helps lift your hearts a little. I have been busy with new songs… rest assured I’ll be releasing them soon. Interesting things have happened… which is always the material for interesting songs.
“The heat of autumn is different from the heat of summer. One ripens apples, the other turns them to cider.”
~Jane Hirshfield

To put you in the mood of fall, my staff here looked up a recipe for cider pretty close to the way my Abbott family does it. Oh! and my favorite apple? the tart and crisp ones!
(thank you https://www.thespruceeats.com/) for allowing us to share.
May the “cider” this fall of 2022 remain sweet.
Happy Fall Ya’ll

It isn’t that they can’t see the solution, it is that they can’t see the problem.

After every storm the sun will smile; for every problem there is a solution, and the soul’s indefeasible duty is to be of good cheer.
